The better employee

Every business organization is on the lookout for better and more effective employees. Beyond having a college degree, employers of labor need salespeople who operate with confidence and conviction.

They need workers that are focused and have the ability to show maximum concentration to the tasks at hand.

Businesses are on the lookout for leaders that have perseverance, can lead and mentor other progressive leaders within the company. They want empathetic employees that can connect with the customer. They need people that can set goals and achieve them.

Yet the problem many of these organizations face is that they can’t find many of this kind of workers that they desperately need.

To illustrate this point some more, statistics show that there is a high percentage of educated people schooled up to the college level now than ever, yet many organizations consider these individuals they actually need to be in short supply.

Because schools and our education system does not teach any of the skills mentioned above. Schools teach knowledge but what companies and organizations really need is not a question of knowledge but a question of attitude.

What is needed are “attitude schools,” and those don’t exist, or do they?

Actually, they exist if you know where to look.

My name is Sensei Marcus Hinschberger and my wife Christina, and I are the owners of Tokon Martial Arts. As a martial arts couple, we are considered by others as an authority when it comes to helping people to become more productive and better employees

We have taught thousands of students around the globe how to strengthen and train commitment and how to get an “I am unstoppable” mindset. We help you to set goals, and show you how to accomplish them. We teach people how to gain more confidence and higher self-esteem. We get students to increase their focus, have more grit and learn how to persevere. We teach how to shake off setbacks and try one more time again.

About two years ago, I had the opportunity to interact with a salesman called Joe who was going to lose his job just because he was not turning in enough sales and commissions to merit his employment. This particular salesman was a nervous and shy individual with the self-confidence of a snail, little wonder he was unable to get anyone to buy whatever he was selling. Yet he represents a vast majority of the working class population of American employees.

Individuals who have not been taught how to develop confidence in their abilities, build commitment and grow their grit and perseverance.

That is why I have taken it upon myself to do what I can to transform the landscape of the American labor market by helping to produce better employees.

After a few sessions in my dojo, we began to see an improvement in Joe’s confidence and attitude, with none of the previous inhibitions that were so common.

Needless to say, Joe went on to become one of his company’s highest performing salesman of the year, winning the best salesperson award for 4 months in a row! How does one move from the threat of being fired to the joy of being celebrated?
