What is the ECP Program?
At Tokon Martial Arts in Sacramento, our Elite Competition Program (ECP) is designed for dedicated martial artists who are ready to train and compete at the highest levels β regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Whether your goal is to sharpen your skills, earn championship titles, or represent the USA on the world stage, the ECP gives you the training, coaching, and experience to get there.
The Elite Competition Program (ECP) is a performance-driven, invitation-only training track for students who show exceptional discipline, commitment, and talent.

- Advanced kata, kumite, and conditioning training
- Travel to regional, national, and international competitions
- Mentorship from highly experienced, professional coaches
- Exclusive access to competition-focused training sessions
Our students have competed on the USA National Karate Team and continue to represent Tokon Martial Arts at prestigious events worldwide.
Travel & Competitive Experience
Our ECP athletes donβt just train β they compete across the country and around the world. From state tournaments to national championships and international events, we prepare martial artists for high-performance environments.
- All ECP athletes compete in USA Karate Nationals, gaining high-level tournament experience.
- Many of our students have earned the honor of representing Team USA through the ECP program.
- ECP athletes have trained and competed across the United States in major national events.
- Those selected for Team USA have the opportunity to travel internationally
