“Girls wanted for difficult journey,” I modified this headline on our picture above from the advertising that Ernest Shackleton’s did for his Antarctica expedition that reads: “Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. A safe return is doubtful. Honor and recognition in the event of success.”
Quite a headline and if you read it, you would doubt that anybody would EVER sign up - yet breathtaking expeditions like this one have been taken on by fearless men, had guts, perseverance, mental strength, and incredible mental toughness. This kind of attitude gets you a place in history. While most of us have no interest in crossing the North Pole or the South Pole or climbing Mount Everest, we are all interested in the mindset and attitude it takes to take on such heroic tasks.
If you could improve your confidence just a little, what could YOU accomplish? If you would have just a little bit more gut and perseverance, where would it take YOU?
What if you could work on ALL of these mental attitudes and gain such a mindset and attitude?
You, reading this article proofs that you are not a “Snowflake” (whatever your age might be) and that within you lies a lion that wants to be awakened. So what do you do and where do you go to craft and forge this kind of heroic attitude?
I want to tell you of a place where characters are forged, and great men and women are taught the right skill set needed to make great strides in life and lucky you, it’s not at the North Pole. It is right here in Natomas / Sacramento, and the place is called Tokon Martial Arts.
